PAYMENT
Payment is due upon departure. A 5% sales tax and 5% city meals & lodging
tax is added to all room totals. Cash, traveler's checks, or personal checks
are preferred methods of payment. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American
Express and Discover credit cards.
CHECK-OUT
We require that you check-out by 11:00am to allow adequate time to prepare
for incoming guests. You may store your luggage with us if you would like to
spend the day touring Appomattox. However, we do ask that you reclaim any
luggage between 2pm and 6pm.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served from 8:00am to 9:00am. Tea and coffee are available in
your room. Please notify us with any special dietary needs or restrictions
you may have and we will do our best to accommodate.
SMOKING
Due to the age and historic value of our property, smoking is not permitted
inside the inn. There are areas on all our porches for smoking.
CHILDREN
Well behaved children are welcome to enjoy our historic inn.
PETS
Our inn has no pets on property and guests' pets are not permitted. If you
are traveling with your pets, please call us for a list of local boarding
kennels.
TELEPHONE
Our toll-free number is specifically for reservations. Calls cannot be
transferred to guestrooms from this line. To accommodate incoming guest phone
calls we have installed our guest line. That number will be provided at
check-in if needed. Please give this number to your family and friends who
may have a need to call you while you are visiting our inn.
PARKING
Complimentary off-street parking is provided for guests of The Babcock House.
